This hands-on Perinatal Massage Continuing Education course is designed for licensed massage therapists who want to safely and effectively work with clients throughout pregnancy and into the postpartum period.
Covering prenatal care across all trimesters as well as postnatal and postpartum recovery support, this course bridges the full continuum of the perinatal experience. Whether you are new to this specialized work or looking to formalize and deepen your existing knowledge, you will leave with the tools to confidently integrate perinatal massage into your practice.
What to Bring
- Massage sheets: 2-flat sheets, 1-fitted sheet
- 3 pillowcases, or one body pillow cover & 1 standard pillowcase
- 3 hand towels
- 3 bath towels (large)
- 3 standard pillows, or one body pillow and one standard pillow
- Optional: Wedge pillow, balance ball
- Lotion or oil of your choice
- Laptop, tablet, or pen & paper for notes

This new CE class will cover manual techniques for assessing and addressing scar tissue restrictions, mobility, and pliability, within the scope of your massage therapy practice. Designed for LMTs working with clients who have scar tissue from surgery or injury, presenting with short- and long-term restrictions.
